• Lovely horses sold

The lovely Monty has been sold to a lovely new home where he is being very spoilt. Very happy! Ted has also found a nice new home where he is doing a variety of activities and his owners are very happy with him.

Professionally schooled with 3 nice paces. Jumping well over coloured poles at home

A good allrounder who would make a nice riding club horse

Smart showing prospect – has been competed at local shows last season and been placed. RoR registered

Lovely attitude, very friendly, curious and interactive. Loves being part of the family

Not your typical thoroughbred – he’s very laid back and doesn’t have to be ridden every day

Excellent hack, alone and in company. Always snaffle mouthed whatever he’s doing, and has been out hunting this season

Good to catch, shoe, box and clip. He is good in the field with other horses, currently turned out with a mare and another gelding

Ideal for a confident teenager or mother/daughter share as he’s a lovely fun little horse

Vaccinations and teeth up to date, no health issues

Same home for the last three years. Only for sale due to a change in career.

  • Irish, Chestnut, Gelding, rising 7 years, 17 hands

Super all rounder, nice paces, straight forward and genuine with a good jump. Love his job.

This horse has hunted the past two seasons with the Cotswold crossing all manner of country boldly and carefully. He previously hunted in Ireland and with the Cottesmore. Well behaved with hounds, stands at the meet and goes all day. Jumps for fun – hedges, walls, timber, gates etc.

He has elevated paces and is regularly winning and placed at Prelim and Novice Level. He has an honest straight forward jump and is currently taking part time in riding club activities.

He is a gentleman to do on a day to day basis - good to shoe / box / clip and hack although he can be nervous with tractors and large lorries. Will stand quietly at competitions and is easy to do, doesn’t get silly or over excited.

Has been thoroughly x-rayed when purchased and open to any vet. History known.

A very sad sale of a much loved horse due to a change in owners work commitments

We are looking for a competent, competitive home where he will do a variety of activities. Uncomplicated ride but please no novices. Only still for sale due to timewasters.

  • Two lovely horses looking for new homes

We currently have two horses that are looking for new homes. Innocent is a 16.1hh thoroughbred, bay gelding who is looking for a long term loan home. He is 16 years old and has been with his current owner for 7 years. Now looking for a home where he will enjoy hacking and unaffiliated activities.

Monty is a fantastic 17hh chestnut gelding.Genuine horse. Would make a super gentlemens hunter or dressage prospect. Unfortunately he is still for sale due to a number of timewasters. Please only enquire if you are actively looking for a horse. No trial period!

  • Handsome TB Gelding - offered as fun allrounder/hack – Looking for a knowledgeable long term home preferably with experience of TB’s.

Innocent is a 16-year old 16.1hh, bay thoroughbred gelding. He has been with us for 7 years and has successfully hunted every season. However hunting has become too much for him and therefore we are looking for a home where he will NOT be hunted.

He has successfully taken part in team chasing and has been schooled for eventing in the past. He has beautiful paces and with a little work on the flat he would do a lovely dressage test. Very genuine and will happily jump a small course. Enjoys fun rides. He is forward going and can be strong however he does not buck, rear, shy or mess around.

He is good to clip, catch and will load into a trailer or lorry. As with many thoroughbreds he is known to bite and kick out when he is brushed and is having the saddle on therefore we are looking for someone who will be conscientious and who has had experience of ex racehorses in the past. However, he does love one on one attention and is very relaxed when being plaited etc. He hacks out alone and in company and is very comfortable to ride. He prefers to be out but will require a stable or shelter to come into to escape the elements.

We would like to find a reliable caring home where Innocent could be used for light competition and hacking. Being forward-going he is NOT suitable for a complete beginner but more suitable for a rider with some experience who would like to take part in unaffiliated activities. Being a hunting family he has unfortunately become too strong to hunt therefore we are looking for a new, long term home for him. He enjoys work too much too retire therefore a home where he will be worked and enjoyed is essential. He is not a Novice ride and knowledge of thoroughbreds would be favoured. Good home essential and we would like to view his new home prior to agreement. Ideally looking for a loan home with the possibility of purchase if all parties are happy.
